No FC, but BC

I have a flight monday and I just received my upgrade notification for business class. Now flying on an X fare class. My question is the flight is the following:

Flight 693 : Raleigh/Durham, NC (RDU) to Atlanta, GA (ATL) on Monday September 21, 2009

Why is there a business class, no FC? Typically RDU->ATL has FC and not BC.

It's the same exact product domestically - just marketed differently, as that flight number carries on to an international destination.

As Mersk mentioned, the only reason the flight comes up as Business, thus taking from the X inventory bucket, is because the flight is either a continuation or terminating leg of a flight with the same number that travels internationally.

Case and point, DL 19 was operated LGA-ATL-PVG (Shanghai, China). The LGA-ATL portion was operated by a 757 while the ATL-PVG was operated by a 777. Both legs however were labeled Business, even though the 757 was typical domestic first class.
