Seat assignment on DL/NW Reservation
Just booked a trip PDX-CLT for November, and outbound from PDX is via MSP on NW-operated flights. When I finalized the itinerary and went to the seat selection page, the NW flights had assigned seats (ones I didn't like). So I went in and changed them. Apparently 1) delta.com won't let me change seat selections? 2) I'm stuck with a horrible seat (at least PDX-MSP). Any thoughts or suggestions? I may just end up calling Delta and see if they can fix this. Any help would be appreciated!

You'll need to call (or try logging in to NWA.com).
I had the same issue when they wouldn't assign seats for my international flights on KLM. They had to transfer me to the NWA agent anyway.

Thanks for the advice to go to NW web site. I was just getting ready to call Delta. I was trying to avoid booking a NW operated flight but really had no options at this point, the fare was good and the timing was good on the outbound from PDX. I've heard some horror stories about flying NW when one has booked via delta.com!!

I went onto NWA web site and was able to change my seating assignments! Whew, I was concerned that I would be stuck with a horrible seat on a 757 w/o audio/video/PTV, etc.. Guess I will have a good seat but need to plan on bringing my iPod!! And a good book!

I was able to change my seat on the flight from New York to Milan from anywhere to 15A (Eco+) on the Delta website.
I then learned that row 15 has limited leg room and I wanted to change that seat again. The website does not allow me. I cannot change to any other seat. What is the reason behind? Is there a way to change my seat?

I assume that this is a DL operated flight, not AZ even if a codeshare.
There could be two reasons:
All seats available to be assigned by you at this time have been selected by other passengers.
You have already checked in.

You are right, it is an AZ coded and DL operated flight. And no, the other seats are still available. I cannot move to any other seat than 15A
