Minor questions I have been thinking about (RES & duty free)
 

Good morning fellow FT'lers,

I have been thinking about some minor things regarding DL today:

Firstly, I have an upcoming trip in Oct., which was booked a while ago (two months +). Yesterday, I received an e-Mail from DL with ta new ticket from SLCRES. I scanned the new ticket for any changes, but apart from the number, issue date, and place of issue I cannot identify any alterations. Should I worry? :eek:

And secondly, I can remember a time where duty free shopping during the flight was linked to your SkyMiles account. Just out of curiosity, I checked my last couple of purchases and found out, that although they request the seat number and Medallion status during the purchase, it is not reflected in the SM history. What's up with that? :confused:

DL likes to reissue tickets. Have there been absolutely no changes since purchase? Even just flight number - not timing or change of equpment - is a change in DL's eyes, and they may reissue a ticket ~30 days in advance of travel.
