Are There Ever Sales on YBM or I Fares to Europe

I am planning a trip next summer and have secured business class seats for Mrs. TomTom7 and one of the little TomTom7's using miles. In the past, I have gotten a coach seat for myself so I could get the miles but as I get older 8+ hours in a coach seat looks less and less attractive.

I know that no one can't predict what Delta will do but I was wondering does Delta ever put YBM coach fares or business class fares on sale to Europe. Right now the round trip M fare is about $2600 and the I fare is about $3300. Coach is about $1200.
I have miles and PMU's available to upgrade.

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks

Most carriers (CO, AF, DL to name a few) have a summer fare sale with prices at +/- $2000 for roundtrip J to Europe. Cannot remember when it is usually announced; I want to say it is mid to late spring time.

50-advance purchase: $1,159–$1,679* each-way, based on a round-trip purchase
30-advance purchase: $1,809–$2,709* each-way, based on a round-trip purchase

I have never been able to get the lower end of a sale fare base. I'm sure there are some routes that qualify, but anything I've tried for in the past 3 years or so, it's always in the 1500 + or - range. Given the fact that I'm very picky about routes and connections, I don't really have much room to gripe.

It would NOT be in J booking class, if discounted it woud be in I or S (heavily restricted) or D. It will only be done if Business bookings on a particular route is poor or they need to fare match someone else.

Y and B are rarely discounted. Sometime M is.

I was cheaper than M earlier this year . . .

for the following itinerary:

DCA-JFK-PSA-JFK-DCA

I bought the tickets for this trip, which we took in mid-July, sometime around March 1. At the time, I, which is a non-refundable business class fare, priced at $2,500.00; M class, a coach fare upgradeable to J, which has a penalty of something like $200 to change, was pricing out at just above $2,700.

Not only did we save money with I, we were confirmed in J both ways immediately (and also in F on the DCA-JFK connection on a CRJ-900; the return connection was on a CRJ-100 with no F class).
