Just priced an itinerary that included the following "connection":

1-stop
Airport Change:
arrives:
Atlanta
departs:
Cincinnati
(-2-35 layover)

So, what's unusual about that. You just take the ATL terminal connection train to the transporter room, where Scottie will beam you over to CVG.

I've done it many times.

Just make sure there isn't a fly in the transporter room with you :D
