Update on existing SC membership + diamond?
 

As it appears Delta is monitoring this forum to some extent, it would be great if Delta could provide an update on what the plan is for SkyClub members who are also qualifying for Diamond medallion? I think I heard in the past that for people who had an existing membership, they could tack a year on to it, or something like that, but what about those who have lifetime memberships? Assuming getting a refund or credit is not an option, it would be nice if we could gift (e.g. to family) the 1 year membership Diamond would bring. Is this something that has been considered? As it is, this is something of a blow for us who have lifetime memberships (the "add one year" doesn't really make sense in this case.)
