Eligibility: To participate in this offer, SkyMiles member must register online at delta.com/pileonmiles between April 22 and June 22, 2009.
Offer: Earn up to 25,000 bonus miles. Earn bonus miles (in addition to normal bonus miles) in the following increments for each level of unique partner activities between April 22 and June 22, 2009, up to a maximum of 25,000 bonus miles. 4 unique partner activities = 4,000 bonus miles, 6 unique partner activities = 6,000 bonus miles, 8 unique partner activities = 8,000 bonus miles, 15 unique partner activities = 15,000 bonus miles, 25 unique partner activities = 25,000 bonus miles. Only one activity per partner is allowed, only one Buy Miles activity is allowed, only one SkyRewards partner (e.g., SkyMall, LATHER, Organic Bouquet, Vinesse, Great American Days, Samsonite and Java City) activity is allowed, and only one SkyMiles Credit Card activity is allowed. These bonus miles are in addition to normal bonus miles offered by participating partners. Partner offers subject to the terms and conditions of each individual offer.
Unique Partner Activity: A unique partner activity is defined as one partner activity or Delta Buy, Gift or Transfer Miles activity between April 22 and June 22, 2009. Note that only one mileage-earning hotel partner stay/activity with a partner hotel family will count regardless of the number of different hotel stays within the family. For example, multiple stays at different Hilton Family brands (e.g., Doubletree, Embassy Suites and Hilton Hotels) will count as only one eligible activity; however, normal bonus miles may still be earned as a result of such multiple activities. One stay/activity at different hotel families (e.g., Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental, Meliá, etc.) will each count as an eligible activity for the threshold bonus promotion. A Delta Buy Miles purchase and a partner points to miles conversion transaction are considered eligible unique activities. Miles earned for purchases using your domestic or international SkyMiles Credit Card count as one eligible activity. Converting hotel partner points to miles and a stay/activity with the same hotel partner do not count as two activities. Flight activity on Delta or partner airlines is not eligible for this promotion.

This is a spectacular offer as I am going to be using a lot of partner services in the next few weeks.

The chance to get miles, is always a good opportunity.

I was wondering if they were going to do this promotion again this year....
Looks like its time to earn some miles!

The way the activities are lumped (e.g. "all Hilton chains count as one credit", "all SkyMilesShopping is one credit"), I'm likely going to be stuck between the 8,000 and 15,000 mile thresholds. However, I'm not going to complain.

Now if NW could just provide one last multi-partner spectacular to accompany this program ...

Definitely time to earn some cheap/free miles with Delta... I'm hoping US Airways and others might kick their promo departments into gear and potentially offer similar offers in the coming months...

I wonder how man partners can be achieved for free???

Looks like I have 8 I know I'll pick up and another 5-10 that I might depending on how our corporate travel planner books me on some upcoming trips.

Since there are a lot of groupings or similar activities, I do not see how there are even 25 different partner activities options available to avail the full 25k bonus.

Can't even use WorldPerks Shopping on that one.

One essentially has to have a stay with each of the hotel holding companies and have a car rental with each of the car rental companies ...

I believe its the first with Starwood. With hilton, you can do Points+Miles option. Not sure if something like that is available with Starwood.

You'll still earn SPG stay/night credit but not points... you will earn DL miles instead. You'll need to attach your DL number to your SPG account an select DL miles as your earning option. Same holds for Marriott and Priority Club. HHonors allows you to Double Dip and earn both points & miles.

Ah, I see after reading the T&C a little more carefully.

Meh, with all the devaluation, it is not even worth it to switch hotels/car every week just to get a credit. You would lose more in not sticking to you primary program for the subsequent weeks.
