finding KL flights on delta.com
I was looking at itineraries MAN-ORD, and delta.com offered MAN-AMS-ORD. I then wanted to break it into multi-stop, but when I search for the MAN-AMS segments it says "No flights are operated between MAN and AMS."
Why will it show the segments as part of an itinerary (proving they have the flights loaded in their system) but not by themselves? I'm sure it has something silly to do with the skyteam agreement, but it's a royal PITA. (the flight is Klm Cityhopper, not mainline KLM, but that shouldn't matter- if it shows up on delta.com in the first instance, it should show up in the second instance). I keep ending up booking my int'l flights on nwa.com (three already this year) because I can't get them on delta.com... but pretty soon, when they merge the sites, I'll lose that option. Maybe at that point I'll be able to load klm.com from a U.S. based computer without jumping through proxy hoops. |
