757 "version 2" seating question
Please forgive me as I am recent defector from US, and not up to speed on all of DL’s configurations. On DL 757 (Vers. 2) I am looking at SeatGuru, and they show no row 19 A-B-C, but don't list Row 20 A-B-C as a good seats. Is there a close bulkhead in this row (20)? Or is it wide open? Conversely, they show exit row 20 D-E-F as yellow, but with extra leg room. As I said, I am used to US, and prefer a row that I can have a window seat, and still get up without bothering those next to me. Any input on which of these two rows is better for that? Thanks...

Frankly, go for 27A or 27F. Window seats and extra leg room, so if you do have to get up, you're not really bothering people too much. |

It seems that 20A would be better considering the exit slide won't be in your way from that seat. Also, I think the "window" for 19F is slightly off center and/or you have to use the window in the slide, which isn't much of a window.

20ABC on this version are close bulkhead seats - poor choices in my opinion. On this version, your only good choices are 19DEF or the overwing exit rows.

Welcome cdepks...I wrote a review or 2 about "premium" seats on my blog (modhop.com). If I remember correctly, row 19 is a good bet if you're on the aisle. The protruding slide tends to bug me on longer flights but not too big a problem otherwise.
It'll be interesting to see what happens as Delta integrates NWA's multiple 757 configurations. |
