How Many Miles Have You Flown?
 

I'm a Million Miler, but I always knew that's nothing in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure many people here have me outdone by a long shot. But while watching "Inside American Airlines" on CNBC, they showed someone who had almost 31 Million miles on American. I'd be surprised (shocked actually) if anyone gets anywhere near that. But it got me curious.

So, Delta Flyertalkers - let's do a fun little experiment. How many lifetime (million miler) miles do you have?

I'm at a lowly 419382 MMM.
But 2008 has been good to me... by the end of this year, I will have about 216K MQMs, and about 442K MMM. Its been a tiring, flying year!

To lessen the shock of someone with 31 million miles, AA counts every mile you make toward MM status. Every redeemable mile that goes into your account is added to the tally. So really, 31 million is not inconceivable if you run a small business and use the credit card for a lot of annual expenses.

I forget how Delta used to calculate their MM... I'm not a fan of it being MQMs. I think it should be actual miles flown, including award flights. No bonuses (1.5 MQMs) just simple BIS miles...

I believe the DL record holder has 12 million MQMs. I seem to remember this coming up in another thread within the last 6 months. Don't hold me to it. :p
