65K in last half of year = Platinum, Thanks DL!
I flew 65K MQMs in the last 6 months of the year. While on my honeymoon (on United - eek!) in Hawaii I checked my account and... Platinum! Delta saw fit to bump me, since I would have gotten 130K MQMs/year if I keep flying at the current rate, which it looks like I will.

I am very pleased. Smart move DL, as I'm feeling real good about you right now.

BTW, most of my miles were on pricey international BE tickets, so I'm probably a high revenue customer. Dunno if that mattered?

Um, you're PM status lasts until end Feb this year. You will be demoted then :-)

I think it lasts to Feb 29. But OP may be saying that he only had Gold last year after flying his 65k MQM, and DL bumped him to PM anyway.

Good thinkingDaDaDan. According to this thread, OP was a GM as of Dec 30, 2007, so I predict PM status in this case will be good through Feb. 28, 2009.

I'm PM until Feb 28, 2009. I didn't qualify for any medallion status until 2007.

Others thought you had PM in 2007 based on MQMs from 2006 and that you were confused on when your "demotion" would occur.
