Best FC seat on 757's & MD80's?

What are the best FC seats on DL's 757 transcon for a couple? Considering leg room, service, PE, ambience? How about the MD 80? I tried SeatGuru but I came to the top for the best info! Thanks for any help

I prefer the window seats since there is more leg room; all the aisle seats have the PTV boxes takes legspace. Row 7 does not recline; row 1 has no foot storage space and the PTVs are mounted on the wall (which is too far IMO).

Row 4 is probably the quietest since its furthest away from the exit and galley/restrooms.

I just booked a F (Y-UP)R/T FLL-SEA 1/8/08 for $807.00 (taxes included!). I was floored to see that price...US by comparison was over $1100.00, CO was $1500.00. Is this an anomaly or has anyone else experienced such a great price?

Seatguru and Delta's own seat maps have all the info needed to make a wise choice based on one's own personal preferences.

As far as I can tell 2AB and all seats in rows 3 thru 6 are all the same. Row 7 has limited recline. If you like bulkhead seats (no underseat storage), 1AB have more legroom than 2CD. But at 1AB, you'll have to lean forward to touch the screen on the PTV and it will be further away. If you don't care about legroom and want a PTV screen that is closer for viewing and easier to reach, choose 2CD.

Personally, I prefer any normal aisle seat or 1B.

Personally, I love 7C on an ex song. I don't know why, but I just like knowing nobody is behind me looking over my shoulder.

As a rule I avoid the bulkheads on all planes as I like to totally stretch out. In addition, there is no storage under your seat. That being said, 1B does allow you to stretch out slightly into the aisle on the 757 but you will have to look out for the carts and people that aren't looking down while walking down the aisle.

On the MD-88, I think 2A is one of the best seats.
