LAX-PHX, $118 all in.
I've also seen LAX-LAS (via SLC) for the same price before, although the best I could find was $138 with a very brief search.

Being from CVG....I see low fares out of DAY...even connecting
thru CVG. I remember an example...I think it was to SAV a coupla years ago...
one way from CVG/SAV was in the $300 range...from DAY/CVG/SAV using the
same acft from CVG/SAV was about $85. Don't know if that still happens today....but, that's my story....lol.

Definitely not the lowest, but I recently paid $198 all included for a ATL-HPN Dec 12-14 trip, bought about a week in advance. Outbound upgrade cleared at the gate, return cleared at the 5-day threshold

LGA/JFK to various Florida nonstop cities can be as low as $59 oneway which comes to $138.80 roundtrip all in. These fares can pop up during slow periods when Delta has to battle it out with Jet Blue.

Traditionally, one of the lowest fares is published between BHM and SDF. Without checking around on days, I found $108.01 plus taxes/fees of $38.60 for a total of $146.61. Really shows you when the airlines AREN'T making money. That is like a 35% tax rate on that ticket.
Odd, I just also checked another traditionally cheap market BNA-BHM. It has the same exact $146.61 fare with the base and the taxes. Another one had $112.51 plus taxes/fees of $34.10 which is still exactly $146.61.
OK, a little research and this proves that taxes directly affect the bottom lines of companies. The $112 fares go through MEM which must have some lower fees than ATL...so they raise the fare because the taxes are lower.

Can someone confirm that this still works? I know that DL switched to electronic vouchers sometime in the past year or so, and am wondering if there are any new issues with this. I'm an infrequent DL flyer, so I don't keep up on their voucher policies. Thanks.

I've bought LAX-Sacramento for $69 (I think). I wish I had know about the refundable trick. Next time...

Good question. My only input is that I remember you could fly MIA-FLL for $35, just that this was back in '95. Big with the people who needed just 1000 more miles for a redemption... if someone dropped you off in MIA, the driver would make it to FLL before the flyer.
