Excess Baggage and Regional Jets
 

I've got an itinerary for monday of next week CVG to DEN on a Delta Connection CRJ non-stop. My collegues and I will each have a normal carry-on as well as an oversized piece that falls within the normal excess baggage guidelines. We'll also have to do the same thing on UA later in the week out of DEN. Has anyone else had experience with excess baggage on weekday flights where they weren't able to get the baggage on the flight? I'd hate to have my equipment not make the flight but for the cost and hassle of sending it air cargo I'd rather just check it.

I'm guessing that it's a 70-seater. Shouldn't be a problem as they have
alot more baggage capacity over the 50's.
