E class availability

Hi folks,

So I'm thinking about trying to go for the fly 2 r/ts NYC-FLA and get a free Anywhere They Fly ticket, but I'm skeptical about the E class tickets.

(Funny how I use the word "skeptical" when talking about the SM program much more frequently than I do in the rest of my life..)

Fine print says E availability is limited (of course).

Can you really book anything decent in E? Is it more or less available than reward travel, for example?

Or will I only be able to use it to Novosibirsk in the winter...

Thanks.

Your mileage may vary, I got the exact flights and dates I wanted for my E class ticket.

I pretty sure that the availability of E seats is the same as Award Seats (N seats) for General Skymiles Members. I verified this on several flights. I am a GM, but I have kids that are general members. So I pull award availabiliy on delta.com as a general member (no status). I then spoke with Delta and the number of E seats available was the same as Skymiles Award seats I was able to pull for the same flights

Net, I think E seats are about as easy to find as general member N seats ... which may be hard or easy depending on the route ..
