From my computer, a trace route shows all is well until the final line:
deltaair-3.border3.acs.pnap.net [64.94.2.46] reports: Destination net unreachable.
There is an outage and/or router issue close to their servers.
Drop to a command prompt and type TRACERT DELTA.COM to see for yourself.
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! THIS IS SGB!
I WILL NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN!

Sometime you will have no choice but to fly Delta. Perhaps a hotwire or priceline ticket.

Is there an estimate of how much a one-hour business hour outage of a major airline website costs an airline? I know for brokerage firms that it is substantial.

Amazing that at 9:02am the first posted the problem on Flyertalk and at 3:47pm EST, I still am unable to get the web site to download in under 15 minutes.

Just checked again. It's toast.
However, at times today, it was very very sluggish, but quite not "stick a fork in it" dead.
With some very persistent retries and reloads, I was able to log on, request auto-upgrade on my itinerary, and do some seat map changes.
This was about 2pm today.
Maybe the website is being "enhanced".
Regards,
MB
