Upgrade Status - Contact Delta??

Upgrade Status - Contact Delta??

Almost all of my itineraries lately have the words "Contact Delta" under Upgrade Status. The first time, I did call DL and they didn't see anything wrong with my reservation. My trips for the next 2 weeks have this, whether I've already been upgraded or not. Has anyone else seen this and know what it means? Here's one reservation:

I've had this happen on two occassions. One was when I had a reservation but had not yet purchased a ticket. The second was when I was travelling with someone else on the same itinerary/RL#.

I get this all the time when an upgrade clears. I call to get a seat assignment.

In my case, it showed up that way prior to the e-ticket being issued. Many internet booking sites and corporate booking products don't immediately ticket, but put the PNR on a queue for another company or automated process to retrieve it and issue the ticket. During that period of time, I have seen the "Contact Delta" status.

Online it has said this when your upgrade clears for at least 4 years and maybe more.

This was because I used a PMU to upgrade one of the legs. I couldn't check in at home, I had to check in with a person at the airport. I asked if I'd be able to check in on Thurs online, and the GA said I should be able to. My record online still shows "contact Delta".

Last Wednesday night I called the PM desk and they said my record showed "Contact Delta" because of a PMU I used for the outbound. The woman I talked to said that this is a "bug" on the website. She had to reticket the ticket (took her about 1/2 hour) to get it to remove the "Contact Delta" so that I could check in online.

Well my itinerary for next week shows "Contact Delta" on all 4 legs and I'm not using a PMU. This is annoying as I can't check in online. Is anyone else experiencing this?
