PMUs for 2004
I haven't received my PMUs for 2004 yet. Has everybody else - in which case I'll call CS.

Did yet you get the PMUs as a first time PM?
I did not think that any 2004 credentials had been mailed out yet since the current status expires the end of next month. If the above is the case, you may soon be getting additional PMUs.

If you qualified for the first time (and received a set of PMUs) in 2003, and your 2004 status is "carried over" from 2003 (i.e., you didn't requalify), you will not get another set for 2004.

Sure you will.. THe first status they sent you was for 2003. It expires 2/04. They will send another package in Feb (or probably March!) and you will get more in there.

[Edited to add:] Sure if you qualified in 2003 you will be PM for 2003 and 2004, but you will not get another set of PMUs for 2004. Trust me on this.

I would assume then that he requalified in 2003, as opposed to qualifying for the first time.
You get a set when you qualify; then another one every time you requalify. You do not get two sets if you qualify once and then your status is automatically renewed for the following elite year.
AA handles it differently and gives you a set of VIPs for every year in which you have top-tier status. So you get two sets even if you earned the status only once.
This has been discussed innumerable times over the last year but I'm too lazy to look up and provide the links.
[Edited to add:] Here's a recent relevant thread. Many more can be found in the archives.

I haven't received mine, probably because 100+ segments no longer makes one a PM.
I already have 18 of them, suitable for wrapping fish or training kittens, so it's really no great loss to me.
