Which is worse, ERJ or CRJ?
Most of my travel is international and on the few domestic flights I am usually able to avoid CRJs. For a domestic trip in March, I have to choose between a CRJ (CVG) or ERJ (DFW). Its been so long since I have been on an ERJ I can't remember if it is as bad or worse than the CRJ.
I know this is an obvious question but would appreciate some advice.

Seat 1A on the ERJ135/145 is probably the most comfortable coach seat on any DL plane in the fleet. I prefer the ERJ only because you won't have someone (and their shoulder/elbows) squeezing against you on the "A" single-seat side. The CRJ is WAY too cramped and seats are very uncomfortable

Would you prefer a poke in the eye or a punch in the gut?

As posted above - 1A on the ERJ. The Greyhound is preferable to the CRJ.

Thanks for the help. I will take the ERJ, but sadly 1A is already gone (maybe to one of you).

The Jungle Jet (ERJ) has, in my opinion, one of the nicest heads (WC) in the air.
But you might not spend much time there...
Having the 1x2 layout is nice versus the Flying Skidoo's (CRJ) 2x2
Also, the shorter(-100,-200) CRJ's have those reeeeally low (knee level?) windows.

How long is the flight?
If I have a choice between CVG and DFW, I'll take CVG (which means I get the CRJ) but more information may allow for a better response.

A ride on an ERJ can be a little uncomfortable, but with the A aisle it makes it much better than any other Delta coach product...
...an extended ride on a CRJ can lead to permanent damage - my back is sore for days afterwards.

I am going from IND to OKC using either two CRJs through CVG or an ERJ to DFW. Two CRJs is a bit much to ask from a sane person.

One thing to consider.. if there is a flight cancellation in IND, they will put you in a taxi to CVG to make your connection. Or you could take AA from IND-DFW to make your DFW-OKC connection. Looking at the flight guides CVG-OKC and IND-DFW are about the same mileage but IND-CVG is about 80 miles shorter than DFW-OKC.
What about IND-ATL-OKC on DL mainline?

Hard to explain objectively, but we prefer the ERJ (CO version) to the CRJs (DL & NW versions) we have been on. Perceived space is the difference -- the ERJ seemed to have more legroom and butt room both.
