Combining Comp Ticket and Voucher???

I recently upgraded my Delta Amex Skymiles card to platinum and received the standard companion ticket certificate.

I an also the the holder of (2) $200 delta travel vouchers for being bumped off a crowded flight.

Has anyone ever tried combining these two items using the travel vouchers to pay for the 1 non-companion fare???

I would be interested in hearing if anyone has any experiece trying this.

I did it once, but it required a battle to the death. Not really worth the trouble.

Good luck. You might want to do a search to find all the horror stories about using the companion ticket on a PAID in CASH ticket.
