I checked my DL SM Statement yesterday to find a strange posting:

3500 bonus miles - ATL CON AFF Promotion.

Anyone else get this? Explain how I got it? I feel oh so lucky.

Way better than the equally mysterious 1 bonus mile I got back in October . . .

i have received this message when DL posts compensatory mileage as the result of a bump or other inconvenience. otherwise, i suggest taking it and running (or flying)...

I agree. I got the same twice, when claiming for poor service.
