Delta CEO hints at pilot wage cuts

Delta Air Lines Inc. CEO Leo Mullin described the contract Delta has with its pilots as "hugely expensive" on Wednesday and hinted that the Atlanta carrier will try and negotiate with its pilots to reduce wages.




Mullin said Delta's contract with its pilots was a "fluke of timing" that was signed in the rosier times before the economic slowdown and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001
