API on Delta web site

Sorry if this has been covered before, I tried a search but turned up nothing.

Is there a way to enter your API (Advance Passenger Information) on the Delta Website, like you can do on BA’s site ???

Or do we have to wait until we’re at the airport to do so ???

Thanks in advance of any info offered ^

In contrast to many other airlines (BA, AF, KL, NW, ...), Delta has not yet added functionality to delta.com to enter any API information there. You gotta have your address including ZIP code (and of course, your passport) available at check-in.

Ok, that’s what I thought !!

I’ll just schedule another ¾ hour or so at the airport on top of my usual allowance for check-in. I’d say check-in could be slow, if they have to record API from every passenger. :(

Thanks ^

Shouldn't this not be a problem with their new International Kiosks, which can scan a passport? Also if you attach your SkyMiles number to the PNR, wouldn't it pull your address from the Skymiles file?

Such kiosks are generally not present overseas and they won't work, as currently configured, to satisfy the growing shopping (fishing expedition) list of the US government in relation to non-US persons heading to the US.
