I got 932.
Does anyone know if there is a reason why so many promotions have such cryptic descriptions on our SM statements? Is there some inate advantage to being vague when it comes to these bonus programs? I would imagine that it is to everyone's benefit for each posting to be clear to avoid unnecessary emails and phone calls to DL. It can't be the case of a limited character count for the description. If "Delta Flight 1034 from Pensacola, FL to Atlanta, GA (LV)" can describe an entry on my account whey couldn't "Amex Spring (Mar-Apr) 20% Bonus" be the description instead of "20 SPRINGBNS1" ?

Thanks for posting this question. I noticed the bonus miles in my account this morning, and for the life of me I couldn't remember the promotion.

I got a nice 1700 miles out of this, but it was the fourth AMEX activity to post on my account within a 7 day period, so I also had no idea what it was.
I had something post to my account on May 2nd that simply said "Delta SkyMiles Credit Card (posted on 03May2006)"
I know its not my statement miles, what could it be? It was only 620 miles, which is pretty small for my recent (2006) charge activity.
Anyone else have this happen?

yesterday I got "20 SPRINGBNS1" for 3,468 SkyMiles
Last Week I got "Delta SkyMiles Credit Card (posted on 03May2006)" 199 SkyMiles.
The weird thing was that I had received "Delta SkyMiles Credit Card (posted on 02May2006)" for 7,012 SkyMiles the day before.
I have no idea why they gave me the 199 miles the next day, I checked my account (AmEx) and the 7,012 SkyMiles was correct amount to be posted.
