Do the new changes with Delta Connection taking over CMH to MCO &TPA and new DLX service in the NYC area mark the start of the new strategy to battle the low cost carriers?

Yes.

Delta recently had a high-priced study conducted to discover new ways to compete with low-fare carriers.

The result: Lower fares in markets where leisure travel dominates.

Hence, the "new" (although not new) T category fare.

Leo Mullin probably paid 2 million bucks for that!
