Changing terminals at JFK
 
When changing from terminal 2 to terminal 1, going from a delta flight to an Air France flight, will I need to reclear security? My lay over is scheduled to be 1 hour and 40 minutes.

You do have to go thru security again. Going from one terminal to the next isn't the smoothest either. You should have enough time.

Is your luggage going to be transferred? With just hand luggage, it is a 5-10 minute walk. And you will need to clear security again.

You can move freely between Terminals 2 and 3, which are both operated by Delta and have a connecting walkway inside security. Terminal 1 is completely separate, however, and you have to clear security again.

Just a hint, if you are pressed for time: WALK from T2 to T1. The bus takes the long route passing all the other Terminals first.

And there is no fitness or health charge when running from one terminal to the other.
