Any one know what this strange DL baggage tag is used for?
 

This Flag was attatched on my friends Baggage tag, :eek:

Is it Priority tag? (I think That's Green color for DL.) :rolleyes:

Isn't that a transfer tag??

Baggage transfer tag. It's very rare to see them. Notice how it's designed to be easily slipped off the "real" bag tag. It should have been removed as part of the transfer.

What is special thing about transfer bag tag?

It might not a just transfer to another flight, CUZ they don't need that.

Notice how it's bright orange? It allows the baggage handlers to easily spot those bags coming off a flight that have to be transferred to another flight. I believe they're only used on international flights, but I'm not sure. They should always be removed by baggage handlers at the transfer station, so as not to confuse the end station.
