Please do not take this as a flame or a smart ... remark.

Is this a targeted mailing? I would take advantage of this offer. Its great! I just dont want to attempt to use them and find they have been cancelled because I did not qualify for it.

Also, does the mailing say when the cert has to be used, or is it just standard 1 year expiration?

All I got was a lump of coal!

Actually, I got a letter telling me all about their pilot problem.

Could someone please provide a valid url/web address?

The one above Www.delta/awardcerts is not a valid address. It needs at least the .com and maybe something else.

We really appreciate your sharing, but please share the whole story and address.

I did go the award cert page and entered the code, and it was ready to issue me something, but there was no explanation as to what it was.

Some help please?

That is the URL on the Post Card!

Try going to the rewards page at Delta.com and enter the Code when it prompts you. That should work too!

I get the same error when I log in to the Delta site and click on "Request Award Certificate". Looks like their web site is broken for now.

I'm wondering if the Delta grinch has taken away this promotion now that the word is out. The link for "Request Award Certificate" worked just fine last night and today all you can get is a 404 Error message indicating the URL can't be located. Perhaps I'm getting cynical in my old age, but I'll wager DL has taken the site down to prevent requests for the reduced mileage awards from those who were not targeted. Let's see when it comes back on line.

Can someone provide a bit more information on this? Yes, I can now go to that site and request the D100 award, and it is then ready to take 20,000 out of my account.

BUT, I am not sure what the award is, any restrictions, etc.

If it is indeed RT Coach, domestic and even if you have one year to use it, it sure is a good deal. I KNOW I will be taking some flights next year, and getting 5 tickets for 100k vs getting 4 tickets for 100k, this looks pretty good.
