using skymiles on nw
 
planning a trip in early mar 2006 from dc to oregon. no skysaver coach awards during that time. yet when i check nw, there are award seats. so, if i see award seats on nwa.com can i just contact dl and use skymiles to make a booking with nw?

Call DL, ask for the partner award desk. They will be able to help you find seats on partner airlines. CO, AS and NW are all options for this trip.

FYI...just because they are open for WP members doesn't mean it's open to Skymiles members....but typically the availability is the same

one final question. does a date or time change on a partner award incur the $50 reissue fee? my experience with aa is that date/time changes are free, even on partners.
