Question about flying on a partner airline

I am flying Virgin Atlantic this week and am a Gold Medallion. I know that I will not get MQM for the flight, but will I get my double Miles? Thanks for your help.

Sorry, NO.

Only SkyTeam flights (operated by SkyTeam) will give you MQMs and ELITE BONUS.

Then what exactly is the partnership between Virgin and Delta? Who gets what?
Thanks,

You can earn skymiles on select Virgin flights. You just can not earn MQMs because Virgin is not part of SkyTeam.
