E-Ticket help

I am new to this even though I work for United! I bought an E ticket for my brother to go to ATL because it was easier. What does he need to do at the airport? Just show ID? He doesn't need teh card that was used to pay for the ticket I hope! Thanks for your help to a probably very obvious answer that I will be embarrassed by!

He just needs ID to check-in with the airline (for instance, if he is checking luggage). However, he will also need a boarding pass to get through the security area. Since you bought him the ticket (is this on Delta or United?) I'm not sure if he has a Sky Miles or United Whatever account. If he does, he can probably print the boarding pass on-line from the airline website within 24 hours of the flight. At least, that's the way it works with Delta and I'm guessing you're asking about Delta since that's where you are posting this. If he doesn't have a Sky Miles number, he'll have to check-in at the airport before clearing security to get the boarding pass, even if he isn't checking luggage.
