The delta site shows a shuttle between T2, T3 and T4 http://http://www.delta.com/travelin...ewyork_jfk.jsp which means you don't have to clear security if you came in from another US city. Is this running? We have a 5 hour layover on a Sunday and are heading to BUD and would like to at least head over to the Oasis... Does anybody know if this shuttle runs on a regular basis.

access to Sky Club in JFK
hello,
We have a 7-hour layover in JFK. I'm travelling with my wife and a 3-year old child on international economy on Delta.
One of the options we're evaluating in purchasing access to a Sky Club room.
Would we need to purchase 2 (or 3) passes? is there a smarter way of doing this? Should I consider other lounges (maybe better?) in JFK?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks

Edit to add: Don't know if you or your spouse would be into it, but have you considered spending some time in Manhattan? 7 hours is a lot of time to spend in an airport.

A 30 day pass is only $90 and would allow you access for you and your spouse (and child). This would save you as a day pass is $50 PER person PER day. With that much time at JFK, you could if you wanted, to explore the various Sky Clubs. But I don't know how much moving around you want to do with your child. T2 DSC is nice also some of the T3 clubs that open later in the day (where there is much more in terms of shopping, duty free and food options).

Our trip is in a couple of days and looks like it'll be in the low 30s that evening.
the 30-day pass is good.

Go to the bottom of this link, you'll find access to two guests or immediate family members.

The $90 is the same as the two taxi rides to/from Manhattan. Give yourself an hour on each end, another 30 minutes for security, and 45 minutes to be at the gate before departure, you still have almost four hours in Manhattan. I've spent time in way too many SkyClubs and seven hours is way too long.
I know your child will be perfectly behaved in the SKyClub, but something tells me your spouse will enjoy shopping more.
Get out and see the city.

34 and windy is the case I'm trying to make for my wife for not going into the city. I think she found a few indoor activities to counter... she usually wins.

Best Sky Club at JFK for work?
I'm flying out of JFK to LAS tomorrow afternoon but need to get to the airport really early b/c of, well, long story. Anyways, want to get some work done before my flight (will have about 4 hrs) and need WiFi (free, hopefully). Don't need the best bar (see previous sentence). Also, I'm not a DSC mbr but will be using a one-day pass. Recommendations? T2? I can't get into T4 (b/c of day pass), right? Thanks for suggestions.

The club in T2 has a decent-sized business area with cubicles and such. I haven't used the printing/fax services there, but I believe they are fully equipped.

Agree. There's no contest among the clubs. The T2 one used to be a BusinessElite club, and has retained the higher end look and feel, if not service and snacks. More space too, so quieter and easier to get outlets and privacy.

OK. Thanks. I was thinking T2 was my best bet but a bunch of people slammed it when I searched FT re: best clubs at JFK. Guess folks just have very high standards or all the clubs at JFK are sub par. I'll see soon. Also, what's the deal with wifi? I see on the DSC web page that some clubs have "wifi" and some have "tmobile." what's the difference? is one free and you have to pay for the other? Thanks
