I might try this lounge @ my 3.5 hr layover in JFK next month. Just to make sure, NW PE on an int. flight will get access, right? Can I get access on the way back as well? Coming back in from ZRH connecting to BOS? That would be even better since I am outside security anyway once I clear immigration.

I really like the Oasis lounge^^. Good food (menu service), semi-decent wines, usually not too crowded. I will eat there before a flight rather than eat on board if I have a chance.
It is not huge - basically one room - so if you are looking for something more like (say) the big Skyclubs in DTW then you will not be happy. (And if the baby was more like a noisy toddler then the other lounge inhabitants would probably not be too happy either.)

SkyClub memberships only work if you are departing on a DL flight that same day...just tried it and I wasnt able to enter on my SkyClub membership since I flew in on DL, but out on another carrier.

A DL Day pass will not work at this lounge. Oasis sells its own one-time pass (or was last I was there) for about $45/pp.

LAX-JFK-FCO
My LAX-JFK flight arrives into Terminal 4 and the FCO flight departs Terminal 4, or at least that is what is scheduled for tomorrow and I know things can change especially at JFK.
Question is with a scheduled 2-hour layover will I have time to go into the Oasis Lounge (traveling in BE) if we arrive at the gate in a reasonable amount of time upon landing?
I know that it can turn out that we can only have 1-hour in terminal if LAX flight is delayed or there is a taxing issue.
What is security like getting back air-side at the 4pm hour and is there a dedicated security line for BE and Medallion passengers?
Thanks for any help that can be given.

You will have time and there is a dedicated security line for Business Class. Not sure if Medallions have access to that line.

On the return we have a 3-4 hour layover (depending on customs and immigration so I know we will have time to enjoy what I've read by far is the best club DL has access to at JFK.

Got to appreciate the irony...at "someone elses" terminal you get to have a dedicated line for first/business, but at their own terminal, Delta cannot offer that to you

There is also no requirement to show a Boarding Pass, IF you provide your SkyClub (WorldClub or CRC) Membership card + ID. (I was hassled at the T2 SkyClub last month regarding showing a BP in addition to the above credentials, and the TTU I received back indicated that a BP is only required if you are using the club as a AmEx plat card or ST Elite as your form of entry.)

If you have a SkyClub membership (by being a WorldClub or CRC member -- paid membership) you can access the club any time you feel like it by presenting your SkyClub membership card + ID. You can be departing , arriving or even flying on another carrier.

Fourth bullet point of the SC House Rules (http://www.delta.com/traveling_check...ules/index.jsp) is:
Members can only use the Club in conjunction with same-day ticketed air travel but such travel may be on any airline.
Generally, they don't bother checking, but in PHL (when the club was pre-security), they did want to see my US Airways BP each time I went in.

so, sounds like the 30 day pass - or any pass - not working at the Oasis club. that is a huge bummer! i just haven't been able to spring for the full membership with less travel this year. will i have to hang out with the commoners in the terminal??
