I dunno. That's a whole 11 minutes away from where we'll be staying, at the Gargoylette's condo. That's long haul travel for us to schlep all the way over there, just to hang out with the likes of Canarsie.

Oh, well, I guess we'll just have to bite the bullet and make our way there.

I sent my email... I probably should have mentioned that I might not be able to stay for the whole thing, but the RWT is something I'd certainly want to attend for sure, and a tour of TOC would be pretty sweet as well.

Unfortunately I'd love to be able to do the more "social" events but I've got to get back to making Delta fly and can't miss 4 days of work :P

Do we have to list our guest names in advance? If so, how far out?

If you want to bring a guest, just let me know when you reply. I will need their name at least 3 weeks in advance.

Since the total of these is more than 46 and more than 100%, is that because some said either weekend was fine?

I would not be able to go as 6/26 is my departure to HNL and 6/20 is my birthday. But if you do get to meet with DL executive(s), I would really appreciate if you could put in a question or two of mine.

That is correct.

Here is a more detailed breakdown of 46 people that have responded so far:
  • 22 people responded they could attend either date
  • Of those that can attend 6/18 - 6/21: 8 of 30 responded that they could ONLY attend those dates.
  • Of those that can attend 6/25- 6/28: 16 of 38 responded that they could ONLY attend those
dates.

Assuming that we can get some DL executives to attend, I would be happy to do so. I sent the invitations to them earlier this week, and I am awaiting their reply. If I get a reply that we will have some executives attend, I will solicit feedback on the questions that are on everyone's mind. I will use this as the basis to start. click here. As a note, please read the initial post as I think the purpose of doing this is very well stated.

Another option that I've heard good things about is The Feed Store, which is, comparatively, closer to the Hilton Atlanta Airport because it's in downtown College Park and right across I-85 from the airport. It's a locally owned eatery as well, which may or may not be important to FTers visiting.

It almost the end of 2 weeks

Just a reminder, I am taking responses from those that are interested in attending this event through the end of the day tomorrow (May 2nd). I am making good progress on the planning side, and I am sure this will be a good event for all that plan to attend. More details to follow soon. Please be sure to read the first thread and respond to that email address. Thank you!
