I was scanning the thread looking for this too. I'm not a huge fan of their food, but the beers are great. With 3+ hours, OP can eat somewhere and then find one of the Sweetwater locations for a couple local brews. I've waited out plenty of weather delays at the Sweetwater in Terminal B.

I think we have a winner. Sounds like a plan!

Can't recommend OFS highly enough, however I haven't been to Ecco in F yet.

No skyclub access, no problem. It isn't worth it anyway (with the exception of showers).

Spend some of it on FT searching for similar threads?

Programs: Now just a lowly DL PM/1MM. This industry needs some competition. It's just not enjoyable anymore.

I tried it in June and it was pretty good. I've added it to my rotation.

Winner. I cannot emphasize enough the discrepancy between the beer (good) and food (awful) at Sweetwater.

Why would I pay for Sweetwater when I can drink it for free in the Skyclub....oh wait....nevermind.

I personally like the food at the Buckhead Books at the B concourse intersect - specifically the black bean burger.

F terminal can be great for people watching.....have seen a few (low grade) celebs there.

If all else fails, you can walk around telling people you are the REAL Thomas Hudson.

Don't waste your money gaining access to a Sky Club.

Go to the B concourse Sweetwater restaurant.

Try one of the beers that the Clubs used to provide us before Club management decided to give us all the single-fingered salute.

Watch the shell-shocked patrons staggering out of the B-10 Club. Look for the thankful smiles that appear on their faces when they realize that they really did survive.

There is a new (I think) Atlanta hawks bar at the nd of one of the terminals (a or b). Dominique Wilkins was there the night I was....seems like a decent enough place for beer and burger.

Also if you want to grab a quick bite and grab some Sweetwaters I would recommend concourse B. They have a newly opened Willy's Mexicana Grill (http://www.willys.com/menu) - think Chipotle with more options. This place probably has better share of customers than Chipotle in Atlanta. They also have a lot more variety which I enjoy. Food is same quality and the airport version is still just as good.

Not far from the B food court is a Sweetwater Bar (Willy's isn't updated on this map yet)...http://www.atlanta-airport.com/docs/terminal/b.pdf

I grabbed some food at Sweetwater not too long ago because I was running really late for my flight and not upgraded. That's a mistake I'll never make again. I very rarely eat at ATL since it's my home airport but if something ever happens and I need food in the airport again... oh no, not there. Got and burger to go and ate maybe 1/4 of it.

I do love OFS though. I've had dinner with friends and family on layovers and meetups before there.

So when will you be there?

Interestingly (and OT), I just saw today that Chipotle is finally going to open up in D...

If I want burritos I usually head toward QDoba in E or now A.

Fine choice! Like others said, their food is not great. If you do want to eat there, stick to the appetizers/deep fried products and you'll be OK. And wash down with liberal amounts of 420 pale ale, IPA, and other delicious beverages!

Maybe it's just because I live in Atlanta, but I am not a big fan of Sweetwater beer. If given a choice, I'll take whatever the SkyDump is serving for free over Sweetwater.
