Some other suggestions to make your experience smoother can be found below:
-Hold a paper sign with the person offering or requesting access's handle

-Having prior conversations regarding your plans so neither of you are confused, this should also minimize the amount of time the person offering access will have to be outside of the club.

Question: I would love to have access to the JFK SC, on 8/16/17 due to a change, I now have a l-o-n-g layover. How far in advance should I post my request? On the flip side would I be able to get access to an arrivals lounge at LHR by a member?
If I can't get access to SC at JFK, my back up is using my AMEX card for a reduced price, hoping the program is still valid.
