AZ J ORD-FCO for 75k one way.
Interestingly, the inventory showed as available on the site/app, but couldn't be sold through. The agent/supervisor worked to open space on DL metal at that price but were unable, so they called AZ to open the space. AZ apparently obliged.

Was just able to reprice an already well priced JFK - LHR Y award from 43k/person RT to 37k/person RT (with it re-clearing back to C+ on the spot). On the A332 in both directions (plus will VS Clubhouse that I've never been to in LHR)
Absolutely no complaints from me on that redemption

The on-again/off-again summer D1 sale to Europe for 128K miles roundtrip is back on-again. Good for flights from June 30th to Sep. 6th (60 day advance purchase and Saturday night stay required). The cheapest Z fares seem to be around $3K from most markets. Not as good as 3 CPM, but definitely more than 2.

I just booked JFK-NRT round trip in main cabin for 60,000 miles plus $60 in fees. This is the first award flight I’ve ever booked, but based on my preliminary searching I think I got a really good deal. Correct me if I’m wrong, though!

Does a CSR via the PM call in line have more power putting together an award flight vs. what is showing online? Here's what Im looking at...
- Travel dates 3/10/20 depart, 3/20/20 return
- ATL-BRU RT is showing 50K miles on KLM with a connection in AMS
- ATL-PRG RT is telling me there's no return flights on the preferred return day 3/20
- ATL-KRK, PRG-ATL also showing 50K miles on KLM, connecting both ways in AMS, including my 3/20 return date (3/20 not available in a straight ATL-PRG RT???)
- Trying to do a mult-city ATL-BRU, PRG-ATL says there's no availability, but I know there is because other searches above show it

im not the expert on this but something like this may be due to "married segments'. one and one doesn't make two here. Delta does not allow a particular segment to take part in a particular award booking even if they're both available. you can put it together yourself but it doesn't price the same way in the award redemption .
when I have had this happen , I have called Delta and inevitably the agent was able to work something out. never the lowest cost of miles, but somewhere in between or better. I don't know what buttons they push ; definitely a "dark art". I have found in all my years of travel that delta has the best agent even though I lost diamond years ago. good luck and let us know how it went

Well, I didn’t use SkyMiles, but I did book a successful award on DL metal. ATL-JNB in J (D1 Suites) was showing 145k SkyPesos per person. Instead, I transferred 93k Amex MRs to VS which turned into 120.9k Flying Club miles with transfer bonus. I booked two seats for 120k miles and just the $5.60 fee. If you don’t mind flying Easter weekend, there are still at least 5 seats left each day on 11 and 12 April.

ATL-BRU, PRG-ATL for 50K miles each. 100% KLM metal which includes the 787-10 on both legs to/from Atlanta.
