Redeemed a J round trip for August for 140k miles, SFO-ZHR round trip.

Sigh, that's low these days.
Oh well 75k of it came from miles for Gold Amex promo, which I've gotten before.

130k for one way?

Is that really a success?

I know; i know. It was a selection made among many evils.
However; the direct MSP-HND flight is pretty awesome as a local; so i was ok with the premium.

But yes i know; its painful. My return is JAL first class for 80k OW with AA miles.

Two one-way J HND-MSP in October for 80K each. I'm quite pleased.

DCA-DTW-CDG-PRG/HEL-AMS-MSP-DCA in J July-Aug for 5 weeks. 140,000 miles and $83.41 taxes/fees. Also bookable via SVO but the taxes/fees are $450.

35.5K miles for a domestic economy award. Sucks, except for the fact that it's for Easter weekend and the cash price is $740.

As much as people hate on dynamic awards, UA and AA have nothing.

Hope that's at least round trip?

Yep.

Domestic air travel is such a scam.

ATL to NYC and vv for 5,500 miles OW on select dates. Lowest I've ever seen it.

Also kicking myself for not moving sooner on this, although I think the cash pricing (especially given I have DL vouchers) is a better deal for multiple reasons:

LGA-DTW-MEX and MEX-ATL-LGA roundtrip was 12,000 miles TOTAL (6K each way, but pricing not valid OW - only RT) plus $111.53 in taxes and fees. Stinks it wasn't plus $5.60 lol.

I am getting dl.com to price out LGA-DTW-MTY (overnight) MTY-MEX-ATL-LGA to price out about $270 as either a V or X main cabin fare...basically values the miles at a penny each, but I get to see MTY for the night and the SDC possibilities (if necessary) will be easier relative to award tickets.

Annoying because the 21st day was today on the award ticket and all of a sudden just before 11 AM ET it just disappeared.

I’ve found and grabbed a 5,000 mile OW Y award on IAD-ATL-MCO back in November for a freind of mine. I have so many miles in my account that it was basically nothing for me.

PDX-SEA-HKG 22-Dec-2018. Two economy tix one-way for 35,000 miles each. Immediately upgraded to C+.

Now I need to find an award back from somewhere in Asia in J around 6-Jan-2019 for a reasonable amount. I see XXX-CAN-YVR-PDX, but that is the CZ 787 that I'm trying to avoid.
