Hi
I have now had a second time change to my DL reservation, LHR-ATL-FLL D1/FC, was to have 1:32 in ATL but this has now changed to 3:08 - not unreasonable by any means. No suitable earlier connection but I would be happy to fly to MCO (my ultimate destination) which has a better 2 hour cionnection . Would it be a reasonable request to reroute or will I likely meet a lot of resistance?

TIA

Not in this job that I'm in until April. I'm hopeful that I'll get to travel once I start that new job in late April/early May. Unfortunately, I don't think DL has the government contract on many routes out of SAT.

I used to know where to check for the government contracts out of each airport. I can see if I can find it again.

I'm pondering drinking, and it isn't even 4 PM.

It's 5 pm somewhere too, and even 6 pm, in fact, in the same places as it was 4 pm when I posted that two hours ago.

If you google “GSA city pair search” the website to look up the contract fares should be the first result.

Some government agencies post this on their website, or try SATO. However, in some years, the official contract carriers change a lot.

True, but now I don't feel like having a drink.

Thanks. It was helpful when Mr. Kipper was traveling frequently.

My seatmate just asked me "where's the hole???"

HTB!!!

... she meant for the earphones although after I pointed out the jack and the blue circle lit up, she tried a couple times to plug into the space next to it.

If your arrival is now ~90 minutes later (or departure 90 minutes earlier) you have a pretty good case. Let us know how it goes!

The waters are now getting muddy! I am booked on VS4045/VS5087 LHR-ATL-FLL on 5th Feb, 12:30-17:22 / 19:00-20:54

I got a message from DL yesterday saying that I am now on DL31/VS5087 LHR-ATL-FLL on 5th Feb, 11:00-15:52 / 19:00-20:54 but if I look at the VS website I'm booked on 3 flights DL31/VS4045/VS5087 LHR-ATL/LHR-ATL-FLL on 5th Feb, 11:00-15:52/11:10-15:52 / 19:00-20:54

On both DL and VS websites the VS4045 departs at 11:00 but there is now a VS4047 at 12:30

I think I will be spending some time oin the phone today!

MAEN!

Unfortunately the weekend has come to an end here. But at least I know where the hole is.
