Once again I go offline for a week or so and nothing changes here.
It's nice to miss lots of posts and not miss anything relevant other than birthdays, travels, opinions, thoughts, observations, complaints, and assorted taste testings of cake, beer, etc. That is however not to say they are not entertaining.
From what I gather, there is much confusion, Scotty is still not Jewish anymore, MQDs are here to stay, beer and spirits are being consumed, people are moving and others are staying put, no recent mention of firearms or use of, and so on.
So it's November and we have many holidays to celebrate:
All Saints, All Souls, Housewife's Day (aka guard your wives from Dovster Day), Gunpowder Day (kipper's favorite holiday), Guy Fawkes Day, Marine Corps Birthday, Veteran's Day, Sadie Hawkins Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday and so on.
There are also some November Delta holidays:
Go for a Ride Day, Chaos never dies Day, Absurdity Day, Forget-Me-Not Day (for all those losing status), Have a Bad Day Day (aka GA Day), False Confession Day (aka there were no non-revs upgraded day), Pins and Needles Day (aka watching the upgrade queue day).

It will go away sometimes end of 2017. I am pretty sure about that. I don't like change the SkyMiles program. We want to bring 100% base miles back. I want back! It will eventually to be restored the old system again.

Given that Hell is in Michigan not too far away from DTW, it freezes over pretty regularly every winter.

I don't like the change either, but Delta doesn't care.

Well all the money that you saved with such cheap airfare will be lost at the Municipal Casino instead of at a casino in Las Vegas.

I've gotten a fantastic deal from Alitalia. I am paying only $500 for a Biz ticket to VCE (with a connection in FCO).
I don't know what kind of plane it is but it must be an exceptionally fast one as it only takes 3 hrs, 45 min, to fly to Rome. My last flight to Rome took three times as long. (Of course, it might have something to do with the fact that last time I flew it was from ATL and this time it is from TLV.)
The price was so cheap that I bought three tickets -- one for myself, one for my daughter, and one for my ex. This meant, of course, that I also had to pay for hotel rooms in VCE for all of us for a week, but I still felt I was getting a good deal.
Then, of course, I have to add on the cost of buying meals for all of us and paying for the side trips my ex and daughter insist on taking (Florence, Padua, Verona, and Trieste). To top it off, my UIG (Used Italian Girlfriend) will be joining us in Venice for one day, Padua and Verona -- and she only eats in very good (read "expensive") restaurants.
I have begged off of going to Florence and Trieste, and Padua may not cost an arm and a leg, but Verona has a street called Via Mazzini, which specializes in expensive shops for women's clothing and my daughter plans to do a lot of shopping there with me doing a lot of paying.
In short, I think I would have saved a lot of money by going to LAS by myself. No, don't tell me that I will at least save the money I would have lost at the casino -- my Venice hotel is very close to the Municipal Casino.

Isn't "irrelevant" redundant in this thread?

Quick question that hopefully doesn't need its own thread:
Can I credit RDM to Alaska while still earning MQM on Delta?
