No I am not a Delta employee. That was me sitting next to you in the MCO bar today.

Why would you need a tanning booth? You live in CA… why don’t you just go to your pool and eat your poor tortured ducks?

And…. Ps.

I flew out of MCO today. My new IPOD nano really blocks out those screaming kids on the planes. Actually it blocks out everything, even the announcement to shut off electronic devices.

I will requalify for PM this week!

Pps. I consolidated my answers according to the Lounge Rules. (Where is the angel face when I need it?)

Bienvenidos from Buenos Aires. Just wanted to add my welcome as well to the new FT Lounge. Thanks, Canarsie for getting the ball rolling. Actually bumped into some FT'rs yesterday and it seems as if we are all taking the same flt on 15 Oct from EZE/AtL. BE is going to be a lot of fun that night

Ouch! Jeeze I just tripped over someone's carelessly placed roll-on-board. Someone should post a sign or something indicating where FT'ers should place their carry-on stuff.

Also, could you guys pay the electrical bill or something. It's awfully dark in here and I can't seem to find who I am looking for. Anyone see Cholula. I was just in the "A plan to exit BK" thread and ran into someone who was looking for him.

YOOOO CHOLULA, YOU IN HERE.

Sorry everybody for yelling. You can now go back to reading US Today.

Excuse me miss, which way to the bar?

I believe Cholula is out of town for a few days (left this morning) but sit down and have a drink while you wait.

Yeah we are a little lacking in overhead and closet space for carryon's but Canarsie made sure there was room under the seats *smile*

Musings on the DeViL (Delta Virtual

The title was supposed to be "Musings on the DeViL (Delta Virtual Lounge)" which seems to be an apt name for our newly reopened locale.

Alas, TRAVELLER, the gorgeous brunette could not have been you since she was sitting next to the bar in this virtual lounge and not next to me in MCO where I was not. Besides, no gorgeous woman would ever sit next to me voluntarily, even in a virtual lounge. I shall return to the DeViL (Delta Virtual Lounge) frequently but you have nothing to worry about since whomever you choose to sit next to will not, by the above rule, be me. Don't you just love clearly stated DeViL logic?

I know of another impressive Italian concrete job, I have photos , a large curving swimming pool. A neighbor sued because it was too big and too near the street. After 3 months the suit ended, the neighbor lost, work continued. Under Italian law, the neighbor then had to pay damages. (If you file a civil suit and lose, you pay the other person, unlike in the U.S.).

See, Canarsie, isn't this interesting?
How could he not be interested????? Concrete, Italian construction workers, heart be still!

I don’t LIKE Foie Gras. I eat it once a year at our annual Maine New Year‘s Blast. Along with quail eggs and some other bizarre stuff.
And screw the ducks and geese. They were going to end up on somebody’s dinner plate anyway. At least they got to fatten up before they met the knife.

Canarsie said there was a tanning booth in the Lounge. I figured it was part of my annual Lounge membership fee so why not use it.

Thanks to my de facto campaign manager, Lehava!!
Who, BTW, has written my acceptance speech.
And, just in case, also my concession speech.
She is arranging several press conferences and is already hard at work on polling data.
Can’t thank her enough.
But if I don’t win, there may well be an opening for a new campaign manager for the 2006 elections!!
You’re only as good as your last successful campaign.

Vegas again? Don't you get tired of that place?

Because Leo Mullin in Sky Magazine said that a lot of "progress" has been made in the recent decades in air travel.

Mikey, is Leo the primary reason you switched from DL to NW, or are there other larger factors?

I've done a few trips on NW lately, I found it clean, competent, but impersonal.

What I need is opportunity. I've picked up a tab (or three) for you outside the lounge, so I think you're right. If we traveled together often enough, I'd have you stumbling off an MD88 in no time.

Even though I've shared a ride to the airport (thanks again), an hour in a CRC, and a 90 minute flight seated next to Canarsie, I was unable to cajole him into a drink at any point along the way.

Where are you platbrownguy? You should be all over this!
