This is a milepost.

If this were in a hotel forum, it would be a pointpost.

I think I might have reserved enough mileposts for now.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused...

Now that all fares earn one Medallion Qualification Mile (except for First Class, Business Class and Y, B and M fares, which earn 1.5 Medallion Qualification Miles) beginning tomorrow, does this idea still warrant investigating?

Looking through the Skymiles website for earning partners, I see this for EK:

Emirates offers:
Economy Class: 500 miles minimum or actual miles flown, whichever is greater
Business Class: 125% of mileage

Mileage credit only applies to flights operated by Emirates Airlines. No mileage credit for fares booked in W, T, D, E, A, C, N, I, O, P, R, S, U, X, or Z class.

Has it changed to no mileage earning for First Class?

Apparently, it has.

I made the appropriate changes.

Please pardon me if it appears that I have not been keeping this thread (and the other threads) up-to-date, but apparently many changes are constantly made at www.delta.com and it is difficult to keep up with all of them. Therefore, I could use all the help I can get.

I greatly appreciate your input, Savage25. Thank you very much!

Thank you for all the stickies and threads you maintain Canarsie. Makes finding stuff a lot easier for those who don't hang out on the Delta forum a lot ^

It seems the Skymiles website has not been updated to reflect changes made last October. This was the reply I got from Skymiles Customer Service:

Hello Mr. Savage25,

Thank you for contacting us through the Delta Web site. We apologize
for the delay in responding to your message.

We are happy you chose to have your Emirates Airlines flights added to
your Delta SkyMiles account. We hope you are enjoying the program. We
do show that travel in the first class cabin does earn mileage, but for
some reason this is not reflected on the website. Thank you for
bringing this to our attention and we will get this updated.

The following mileage credit restrictions apply to travel on Emirates:

ท No credit for travel on Emirates code share flights operated by other
carriers.

ท Only tickets booked in F, J, Y, M, B, K, Q, H, L, V and G classes of
service are eligible for mileage credit.

. T, W, A and C class of service eligible for mileage credit for travel
effective October 31, 2004.

Travel booked in A or F class does earn 150% of actual mileage.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxx

I have updated the changes yet again, Savage25.

In constantly updating and maintaining all of the threads to reflect the current information available, I have found that there are many errors throughout www.delta.com, which further emphasizes the value of input from FlyerTalk members such as you, Savage25. Your input is once again greatly appreciated!

Interestingly, portions of the Delta forum are more current than www.delta.com. The “sticky” thread and its associated threads would be far more valuable, contain plenty of pertinent information and would have more links to other Delta forum threads on FlyerTalk if more FlyerTalk members would be as diligent as you.

SkyMiles Clothing Care Program

From the announcement: "SkyMiles members can now earn miles when taking advantage of all services offered by participating dry cleaners.

Members must register here at to qualify for this promotion. Once registered, they will earn one mile for every dollar spent at participating dry cleaners. Members will also earn a one-time bonus of 100 miles for the first $50 spent (including tax) and 200 miles for every $200 spent during a consecutive two-month period.

Miles earned through the SkyMiles Clothing Care program, administered by Signature Channels, LLC, can be redeemed for Award Travel, upgrades or Crown Room Club memberships."

A quick check of "participating" dry cleaners in my area was a disappointing zero. Targeted again...

You can buy them from DL. I believe the minimum is 1,000 miles, for less than $40.

Stay at a Hilton once or a Hampton Inn twice, or rent from car rental company that has a partnership with Delta Air Lines, such as National Car Rental.

The original thread has now been merged into this thread.

Send flowers from FTD.com via the Delta link. You'll earn 10 miles per $ spent, excluding the pricey shipping and handling.

The first time I ordered, the points posted within one day. The second time it took several weeks.
