ATL - MCO. I sat next to Lynn Swann. He was pretty talkative. He was going to Disney for golf.

Also talked to Jack Givens (Goose). He is was the announcer for the Orlando Magic.

I've had a couple of celebrity seat mates in F.

A couple of years ago, I was seated next to Trent Lott on a flight from ATL to Reagan National.

I was across the aisle from James Earl Jones on a LGA-CVG flight.

I was also on a DFW-ATL flight with Ivan Lendl several years ago, when he was at the top of his game.

For any European football fans, Marcel Dessailly was on a late Sunday night flight from London to Paris.

He was trying to pass incognito but he was stopped by security for trying to board with a bag that a friend wanted him to carry.

I was next to him at baggage claim, where a group of smarmy looking mullets came to pick him up and handle his luggage. He spent the entire wait at baggage claim on his mobile.

One monday morning this spring I had the man himself, Leo Mullin, sitting a row up from me. Let me tell you, we left the gate on time, got to the runway quick, and had the smoothest ride to EWR I have ever seen. I think we were even a few minutes early into the gate. And those of you who travel to EWR every week know what a rarity that is!

A couple of years ago, flew a late-night CVG-PHL with some minor league hockey team. On initial climb-out, two stood up in the aisle and pretend to be ski-jumping. Quite an amusing bunch. I actually turned down the FAs offer to move because they were such a riot, having a good ol' time.

On a BE flight CDG-ATL - Andrew Young, former ATL mayor and UN Ambassador and DL board member. I had to teach him how to use his on board entertainment system.
Sat next to Pete Sampras - TPA-ATL - on his way to Europe - back when we got food on this rout, he asked for an extra dessert.
Marcus Allen, in the CRC with a body guard, right when the OJ thing was breaking with news about his affair with Nicole.
The guy who played Norm on Home Improvement. After the show was off the air. He was really put out by everybody. The GA printed out an extra BP and came back on board for an autograph which he signed without even looking up. He doesn't want any attention, just shave off the beard.

Saw Tim Duncan in the gate area at GSO around Christmas a few years back. He was very gracious and signed autographs for all the kids bunched up around him as the flight was delayed.

He was at my cousin's wedding in BKK about 2 years ago, I thought he looked familiar and got confirmation in the paper the next day.

Geez, I totally forgot. I was on an IAD-ATL flight last fall where Uncle Leo was seated near me in F.

You'd never know who he was if you didn't already know who he was. A totally unassuming-looking guy, engrossed in his Wall Street Journal.

I have had the ocassion to fly with quite a few wrestlers (so what if I watch - its just a soap opera for guys)... so

Hulk Hogan
Booker T (in coach - and is he big man)
Bobby the Brain Heenan (his briefcase tag 3MM)
Tony Sciavane (sp?)
The NITRO Girls, and I was the only guy in F (:-)
Kronik (Bryan Clark)

among others ... anyways, Hulk Hogan was the best with all the kids. He must have signed about 200 autographs, had his picture taken over 50 times. Very personable, asked the kids their names, talked with each one of em - even took pictures with the kids on his lap, in fight poses, etc. Seeing that actually brought my respect for wrestling up, as I've seen so may pro ball players just be miserable towards fans, esp. kids.

Sally Jesse Raphael and Larry King in FC NY-CVG.
Now get this, Richard Branson in BE to LGW. Seems that he flies the competition at least once monthly? to see their product for himself. He was very personable and down to earth. Asked me alot of questions about myself.

I spent about 4 hours on the ground in SLC with Crystal Bernard (from NBC's Wings) and her country band after our plane was struck by lightning (while sitting at the gate).

Sat next to Playboy's "Miss May" this year DFW to LAX. Not that I'm a subscriber...she was sitting in the next-to-back row in coach (see where pornography gets you?)and had the magazine in her lap, front cover up. She was dressed very skimpily and getting looks from everyone anyway. Signed a few copies of the mag she had in her carryon, at request of male pax. Claimed to be studying engineering (?)at UCLA?!?
