Also, at the FT convention back in October, he stated that he flies in coach but gets the exit row. I believe he likes to fly in the jumpseat every now and then, as well.

Gordon Brown, former UK PM, on 1A of Delta Shuttle flight (DL5917) from LGA to DCA on 4/13. Escorted in before FC boarded by a couple of State Dept / Secret Service earpiece-wearing agents. He was furiously scribbling away on a sheaf of notes by the time general boarding started. He was met by another set of "agents" and British Embassy types.
Do all former heads of government merit this kind of treatment or is it only for special allies and friends ?

7) Visiting heads of states or governments and their spouses traveling with them, other distinguished foreign visitors to the United States, and official representatives of the United States performing special missions abroad whom the president deems important enough for protection outside the Diplomatic Security Service

The US Secret Service is authorized by law to protect:

That could go either way. While the US government probably does not consider Ahmadinejad "distinguished," which would seem to indicate that he not be protected, the US government might choose to protect him here, simply because of the huge international fallout which would occur if he were attacked or assassinated on US soil.

Bishop Don Magic Juan would be my guess. He was in "Old School" with Snoop and is frequently with him in concert. Self professed former pimp/hustla/preacher/advisor. We've all got one of those in our lives.

Not sure if Seth Meyers from SNL is a celebrity, but he was on the LGA-MEM morning flt on 4/11/11. I was waiting on the MEM-ATL flight. He looked familiar & then it dawned on me who he is.

Nomar Garciaparra (NOMAHHHHH!!) on DL 1909, RDU-ATL in 5B today. Guy in a Red Sox hat in 3C put his bag in the overhead right above him and never noticed who it was. I was prepared for a full-on Sox fan breakdown freakout - Jimmy Fallon style - but alas, I was forced to do without.
Edit: Something like this ... about 3:00 in.
