Error submitting 20 minute bag guarantee
 

My wife recently fly ATL-DTW and her baggage took VERY long to come out, almost 45 minutes.

I tried to submit a 'bags on time' for her and it gives me this error. It's been 3 days, I've tried multiple devices, phones and computers, and the same error.

If I change the date of the event, it comes back and says the details don't match the ticket, so it seems to be checking the details properly. but gives an error anyway.

Anyone seen this? Would calling help? There's only 1 day left to submit now.

Whenever this form has failed I have always gotten a timely response and appropriate miles by submitting an ordinary complaint on the website.

I've had this with a PNR mismatch, or flying WestJet (ineligible), or international.
Call them or just fill out a feedback form. It's 2500 miles - they should be able to do this easily.

I've noted that with recent software updates, the app works about 50% of the time displaying the snippet you shared for this piece but desktop works fine.

I am in the same boat, the website is 50 50 at best anymore easier to just log a complaint.

I have had this happen a lot recently. I just open an incognito and it seems to work fine.

EDIT: I see now that Delta has changed the terms of the 2500 mile offer. It has to be submitted within two hours of landing now. But the form still lets you pull up a date of travel up to three days earlier (I guess if your flight actualy travels wildly late?)

Really just another way they're making the day of travel have more things you must do immediately. Pause getting to your ground transpo, or driving home or to the office, fill out the form (it is quick to complete, at least!). "Keep climbing."
