And why can't I exclude BASIC from this crap by default without having to select main every time I search from the advanced pulldown menu?
Also note - no fare buckets shown. |
One good thing I saw in the T&Cs was explicit clarification about SDC:
If you have a Delta Comfort, Delta First, Delta Premium Select or Delta One ticket, you may make a Same-Day Confirmed change as long as a seat is available in the cabin purchased or you may change to a lower cabin if available. |
Sent in my feedback on the updated booking UI/UX, as well as these upcoming rebranding and 'experiences'.
I suggest others send in their comments as well... its the only way DL will know they are making it more confusing, annoying, and difficult to book. |

I have been on FT for 20+ years and have a PhD in Delta and even I’m confused. When presenting in court to a jury I was always told to go back to the drawing board if you can’t quickly explain it clearly and easily to a 6-year old.

This is in contrast with main cabin stating is needs to be in the same fare class. Except, DL is hiding the fare class so you don't know what it is when getting flight results. Insane |
Delta thinks its customers are enormously stupid and just looking for ways to give them more money more money, especially when it’s OPM.
I’ve been wrong before but one phrase keeps coming to mind about this particular move… |

United: Unveils beautiful new Polaris Suite Product.
Delta: Unveils even more confusing branding scheme across all cabins, laying groundwork to cut perks by "unbundling", which is really price discrimination to extract more revenue by bundling. |

Wow! So if I buy Delta Main Extra over Delta Main Classic, that gives me a tiebreaker for that one bulkhead seat in F over the 43 others on the list…
This is getting as complicated as boarding groups… |

This is getting as complicated as boarding groups… Anyone who chooses to buy any of the “extra” fares is simply self-selecting as an incredibly easy mark. |
