confirmation email delayed
 

So, I bought a multi-city itinerary on delta.com over 24 hours ago and still haven't received a confirmation email. The booking seemed to go through as it gave me a confirmation code and I can view it on the delta website but I never received any email from Delta. I usually book through Virgin Atlantic and usually with them, a confirmation email gets sent as soon as the ticket has been issued which in the case of an online booking would happen relatively quickly so I'm sure if I should call Delta about it? I know with Virgin you can still view a booking on the website if they issue you a booking reference number but it doesn't mean the ticket has been issued - it's only when you get the confirmation email with the ticket number in it that you know it's a confirmed booking

You should look to see if you have a receipt. That will post, and include a ticket number, once the ticket is issued. You can find a link for a receipt under my trips or under my wallet on both the app and website.

Noticed delayed confirmation emails lately also... I booked some flights over past few days and didn't receive the email until some time in the middle of the night 8+ hours later.

I too did not receive an emailed receipt for a puchased flight. I downloaded a pdf and requested an emailed recept, both from my receipt list that was acessed through My Trips. The boooking was ticketed properly and all looks good. The purchase was made on Sept 26 and as of today, 12 days later, the email still has not arrived (and is not in the junk folder). All other Delta emails -- schedule changes, promotions, etc.-- have been comethin through fine.
