SK joining ST timeline for adding FF number on DL platform
On September 1st. SK joins ST and I am wondering if anyone got some data points in regards to when DL's platform usually are able to add new FF numbers (in this case SK EuroBonus) to their bookings.
I have a DL flight on the 4th. and would like to add my SK FF number as ST Elite plus. I know that it for different reasons took DL 1 year + to fully integrate ITA Volare to its platform would there be a chance DL wouldn't be prepared for a new ST member like SK come September 1st? |
Maybe they are working to integrate SK's FF database into ST as the option is not available for AF bookings either.
IT is unfortunately not one of the strengths of DL's operation. It took them weeks or months if I recall to add the X gender marker after ID documents were being issued with them and OAL had already done it. That one would have been a 5-second update. |

I am sort of expecting that a full platform integration is asking for to much and your comments just reaffirm that. Now I'm just hoping for a manual/agent workaround.
I have an AF ticket a bit later in September and I could ad my Euro bonus number in the booking flow on their site. It looked like it errored out but when I called AF's call center they had registered my SK EB number in the booking. |
I was able to add my SkyMiles number to a SAS reservation today. I’m a PM but being E+ doesn’t reflect anything in the reservation itself.
Regarding SkyMiles/MQD earnings, SAS is showing on the Delta website but the earnings table is not yet available. Chatted with a Delta rep and he said: ”So it's odd, on delta.com under SkyTeam, it has SAS now, but the charts are not loading, and the Skymiles department has not gotten a chart for it either. The agent told me, maybe because it is a holiday and it is brand new that it could take a few days for the info to be loaded. She is going to let her leader know the info isn't loading so that can get completed or fixed.” keep you posted |

In the meantime, I'd suggest that folks impacted in either direction (DL FF program flying SAS or SAS EB participant flying DL) be prepared to show credentials (FF card or equivalent on phone etc.) and to ask airport agents to add or verify FF numbers. This might require a bit more time, so try to arrive at the airport somewhat earlier than you normally would. Save boarding passes and receipts if you're hoping to request credit later for flights in this interim period.

I just used the SAS app to add preferred frequent flier program numbers to each booking. They had SkyTeam and Star Alliance airlines both listed.
Debating whether to earn SM or Flying Blue from my SAS flights coming up in March. Can add points easily to Flying Blue from credit cards and they traditionally have better business class points deals to Europe from US than SM does. |
Delta is now showing SAS earnings table.

added SM numbers to our Dec booking (OSL-DUB; “SAS Plus Pro” which includes 2 bags), but SK still wants to charge us $20 each for seat selection

No listing for Scandinavian/SAS on the retro-credit website. Any workaround for flights on 9/8 and 9/18?
|
Any reports on credits to Skymiles from a SAS-marketed flight? I'm especially curious if any Medallion Mileage Bonus will apply as this is not mentioned either way in the earning chart.
