Delta skymiles login issues
Hello,
I am unable to log into my Delta Skymiles account using a Windows based laptop. I can log in with no issues on my phone but not on the laptop. I have done all the suggestions like changing the password, clearing cookies, etc. Is anyone else having this issue? Anyone come up with a fix? Thanks |
Do you get the error that says that it can't find your Skymiles account?
I get that from time to time. Most often it occurs when I use the Opera browser. Microsoft Edge usually seems be pretty reliable and rarely has this problem. It does eventually resolve itself, but I haven't figured out what exactly the trigger is. I've tried several things, with varying degrees of success, to get workarounds while I wait on Delta to fix it. My latest workaround seems to be doing ALL of the following: 1. Enable popups on delta.com 2. Disable adblocker for delta.com 3. Disable tracker blocker for delta.com 4. Delete stored logins for delta.com 5. Open up a console window before going to delta.com so that you can see the errors. The problem seems to be a javascript error(s) (shocker -- bad coding on delta.com? Who'da thunk?), so opening the console window allows you to see what's failing and perhaps give you insight in a way to fix/work around it. On Opera, the console window is activated by CTRL-SHIFT-J. |
I have had on and off ability to login to my SkyMiles account for several weeks, finally resulting in seemingly being permanently locked out. Called Delta and was informed that my account 'was under audit'. Asked to hold for several minutes, and then told access was now available to me. No apparent reason given for 'under audit'. Only reason I can think of is I booked an upcoming trip in first class, which I have never done before - but that didn't make sense as I paid cash for it!

Thanks. Yes, I am getting the response that they are not able to locate my account.
I use chrome but also have edge. Iwas able to try the first 4 items with no success with chrome. I don't feel qualified to attempt #5. I'll just give it time to work itself out. Thanks again. |

Thanks Remember that phones (if you use an iPhone or Android) can use Apple or Google's VPN (Private Relay, ONE, etc.), hiding your IP. Windows doesn't do that. And for some reason Windows VPN also doesn't help. |
This happens to me from time to time and for me it is usually fixed by logging in via your browser's incognito mode.

I just came here to see if anyone else was having a problem. Can't login on app or website. Get message "Oops, we're sorry. We're currently unable to process your request. Please try again later" or "We're sorry, please proceed without logging in and try again later. If you have an upcoming trip, you can continue in My Trips." Have tried incognito mode--same thing.

Now seems resolved for me.

Anyone else having trouble today logging in on delta.com? My app works but the website is faster when juggling between different family member SM accounts. Tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Thank you.

yes
it's been kinda dodgy for me for a couple of weeks, usually closing the tab and opening a new one is enough to get it to work, sometimes clearing cookies is needed. |

This is likely - yet again - an issue with Imperva/Incapsula. It happens from time to time on Delta, Hertz, and others who use this garbage-crap-for-service.

I have had login issues for a week or so now, mostly with Edge but chrome also has it from time to time. To your point Hertz always bad. I find it funny Delta wants you to use online and the app for everything, to save customer service costs. But the app and website are horrible.

My IOS Delta App wasn't updating to show my current trips. I deleted the app, re installed and now it isn't showing ANY of my 6 current trips. They show on the web site but zero on the app. Its asking me to search by conf number.
