I hope you are correct. I realized in late November that I would be 1500 MQDs short for 2025 Platinum status. Since I really don't have time to travel, I decided to get a Am Ex business card. I received the card on 12/2 and I have been on a chat with Delta agent to confirm that 2024 MQD boost will apply to this card. I am being told everything but that. And I have foolishly been chatting with them for over an hour to get proper confirmation.

Agents will say a lot of things. Invariably, a lot of it will be wrong. In vast majority of cases, they are likely just using the same docs/T&Cs you can find on DL website. If you are lucky, maybe they will actually find it and interpret it correctly. If you are unlucky (which happens frequently), they will misinterpret the T&Cs, or just make up something to get rid of you.

DL/Amex have many years of experience with backdating MQM Boost activity dates on posts (as many of us here who have made last minute year-end spend to qualify for an MQM Boost can attest to). They would auto backdate activity date to Dec 31st of prior year if they posted to account in the new year. The same concept applies to MQDs. I wouldn't sweat it.

https://www.delta.com/us/en/skymiles...rogram-updates

"MQDs will be deposited within 6 to 8 weeks after an Eligible Card Account is opened, and thereafter every subsequent year within 6 to 8 weeks after February 1 while the Eligible Card Account is open; however, if a New Eligible Card Account is opened during November or December of a Qualification Year, MQDs will be applied to the Qualification Year in which the Card is opened."

Here's an example where activity date (which is set to Jan 1st on MQM conversions), does not match post date. It's the activity date that is used to determine which year the MQDs count towards.

So I reached DM this year already. I'm trying not to use my Reserve card for the remaining portion of 2024. There is no roll-over this year of MQD's correct?

Correct.

Anyone get their 2025 2500 MQD boost yet?

Given that we are still a week away from Feb 1st, it seems unlikely that anyone has seen anything yet.

Per the card Terms, the 2,500 MQD Head Start (not Boost) will post "within 6-8 weeks after February 1".

(Note: the MQD Boost is the 1 MQD : $10 or $20 card spend for DL Reserve or Platinum AmEx, respectively.)

It's the beginning of the year. People really need to chill out a bit.
(yes, I used to be the most manic with this stuff - so I understand)

Same here.

No headstart for my Reserve or Platinum yet.

I did however receive the 4 SkyClub Guest passes that are now loaded each Feb1.

I noticed 2500 MQDs in my account this morning.

pmaddock Feb 1, 2025 8:16 am

I got 2500 this morning but only 2500 - I've got both the Reserve and Plat card - last year they stacked for a total of 5K.
